Rockstar and Flipper hosted our first Defender's Thanksgiving Feast. We all gathered for some food, fellowship, and fun. Attendance was nearly doubled when Gunny and Kitty showed up with all their kids! Gunny decided to play a little trick on Edge, who was being patched in as a probate member that night. He made Edge a fake vest with bogus patches on it and presented it to him at dinner. Then of course, he was presented his real colors and was welcomed by the club! We also celebrated Scuba's birthday!

The first 1st Ohio Defenders Christmas party was held at Gunny and Kitty's house this year. Everyone had a good time visiting and eating and then we had our gift exchange. There were a lot of nice gifts given out (some Defender's themed) but then it came time for Gunny to open his gift from Edge, who decided to pay him back for his Thanksgiving prank. Gunny got an assortment of gifts ranging from a rubber chicken, to an "iron-butt survival kit" (containing things like adult diapers, hemorrhoid cream, monkey butt powder and energy shots) to a package thanking him for his years of military service as a Marine (full of US Navy items). We also patched in two new probate members, Mad Dog and Karnie, and Jaybird was patched in as a full member.
